Applications for the 70-day stallion performance test of the Czech Sport Horse Studbook can be submitted until July 25, 2026.
The test will take place in Martinice. The test will commence on August 4, 2026, and the final examination and conclusion of the test are scheduled for October 13, 2026.
The 70-day test is one of the options for a stallion to gain permanent inclusion in the breeding program of the Czech Sport Horse Studbook. Three-year-old and four-year-old stallions are eligible to participate in the test.
At the start of the test, the evaluation committee will assess the stallion's conformation, movement on hard ground, and basic jumping or movement predispositions, and will recommend or not recommend his continuation in the test. After 35 days of training, a control day follows, during which the committee assesses the level of training of individual stallions. The test concludes with a final performance examination after 70 days of preparation.
The final examination includes presentation in hand, free movement, free jumping, and a ridden test. Show jumping-oriented stallions will complete a dressage test and a show jumping course, while dressage-oriented stallions will complete a dressage test and free jumping.
