He himself dedicated his entire life to horses, significantly contributing to the rescue of Trakehner breeding. He worked at the Amona stud farm in Bolatice, which he managed together with his wife, MVDr. Helena Holá. For many years, he was also associated with the stud farm in Albertovec, and throughout his life, he was connected with the region of North Moravia and Silesia. We will also remember him as a show jumper. Although he had recently begun to focus mainly on preserving Trakehner breeding in the Czech Republic, he collaborated with our association until his tragic death. Our sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of MVDr. Vít Holý. May he rest in peace!
It is with deep sadness that we received the news that MVDr. Vít Holý, who had long collaborated with our breeding association, was one of the victims of Sunday's sailboat accident off the Croatian coast. From 1994, he served for many years as a member of the presidium of the CS Horse Breeders' Association, and until his last days, he held the role of breeding inspector.
